Lady Vols basketball's March Madness journey begins in Raleigh, North Carolina. Are you ready?
The Lady Vols (19-12) are a No. 6 seed and will face first-round opponent No. 11 seed Green Bay (27-6) at noon ET March 23.
The team is in the Portland regional, which has No. 1 seed Texas (30-4).
It's a key moment for Tennessee women's basketball after last year's loss in the Sweet 16 against Virginia Tech and the recent heartbreaking loss to South Carolina in the SEC Tournament.
The Lady Vols are the only program in history to have never missed an NCAA Tournament.

Here's what you need to know before March Madness 2024 tips off.
Lady Vols basketball March Madness schedule
March Madness begins March 20 and 21 with the First Four games. Then, the main bracket begins.
- First round: March 22-23
- Second round: March 24-25
- Sweet 16: March 29-30
- Elite Eight: March 31-April 1
- Final Four: April 5
- NCAA Championship game: April 7
The No. 6 seed Lady Vols will play against No. 11 seed Green Bay at noon March 23 in Raleigh, North Carolina. ESPN will televise the game.
If the Lady Vols win, the team will move to the second round of March Madness and play the winner of No. 3 seed NC State (27-6) vs. No. 14 seed Chattanooga (28-4) in Raleigh.
If they keep winning, the Lady Vols would play at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon, for the Sweet 16 and the Elite Eight.
This year's Final Four and championship games will be at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.
How to watch Lady Vols basketball during March Madness
ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPNews televise games throughout the women's tournament. The NCAA updates the schedule as the tournament progresses.
Streaming options with ABC and ESPN include Fubo, Sling TV, YouTube TV, Hulu Live TV and DirecTV Stream. ESPN will also stream games on the ESPN App.
ESPN will televise the Final Four games at 7 p.m. and around 9:30 p.m. ET April 5.
ABC will air the NCAA Championship game at 3 p.m. ET April 7.
Watch March Madness at these Knoxville sports bars
Lady Vols fans can watch March Madness at several sports bars in Knoxville.
You could pick a Tennessee-themed sports bar like Peyton's Place, Saloon 16 or The Local Smokey.
Or, there are plenty of general sports bars in the area with Sky Box Sports Bar and Grill, Fieldhouse Social, Old City Sports Bar, Tommy Trent's Sports Saloon, Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux and Soccer Taco.
Schulz Brau Brewing Company, Yee-Haw Brewing Co. and Southside Garage all provide larger viewing options with screens and projectors. You can always ask the bartender to put the game on if it's not on already.

How to get tickets to Tennessee vs. Green Bay
The Lady Vols travel to Raleigh, North Carolina, for the first- and second-rounds held at NC State University.
Fans can purchase first- and second-round tickets at gopack.com starting at 5 p.m. March 18. Tickets will cost $25 for a single round, $40 for both rounds or a $30 youth ticket for both rounds.
Driving to Raleigh from Knoxville will take about 5 hours and 10 minutes. Roundtrip flights cost around $645 for trips March 22 through March 26. One-way tickets to Raleigh on March 22 cost around $490, according to Expedia.
From March 22 to March 26, hotel rooms in the area on a budget are less than $100, but most are over $100 a night, according to Expedia.
Flights and hotel room prices could go up as the start of the tournament nears.
